This is second post on Android Video Player and if you have not yet read about first video player app discussed in earlier post then you can read it at : Android Video Player - Best and Free App to Play AVI, WMV, MKV, MP4, FLV and Many Codecs with Subtitles

Video Player For Android - MX Video Player : This is one of the best and free apps to play your movie, music and other videos in most of the CODECs. The user interface of this Video Player is very neat and friendly. It allows you to perform certain operations by swiping finger on video screen and is very cool feature.

Android Video Player - Video List : When you install this app on your Android phone and launch it first time then it may ask you to download the CODECs from Android Market. Just install the CODECs it prompts you to install and once done go back to the app once again. This would display recent changes screen and you can dismiss it to go to folder list screen. Here you would see all the folders on your Android phone where videos are present. Tap the folder that you want to explore further and you would see the list of videos in that folder.

The magnifying glass at top right hand corner of this screen is to search the video you are looking for if you have too many videos in list. The refresh icon just left to magnifying glass icon can be tapped to refresh the video list.

Android Video Player : Full Screen Mode : When you tap any of the video from video list shown in screenshot above then it would start playing that video in landscape orientation.

In this mode you would not see other user controls at the bottom and you can not change the volume of the video by swiping vertically.

This mode is for locking the user controls while you are playing the video so that things do not change accidentally or controls do not come in playing area of the screen when you touch the screen accidentally.

MoboPlayer : This is one of the best Android Video Player apps you can find in Google Android market or Android store of your choice. It is simple to use and feature packed. Best part is, it is absolutely free. It comes with it's own codec format package and can play a very big list of formats for you. It's user interface is so friendly that after using it once you may not look for any other video player again.

When you launch this Android video player first time then it asks you to download and install codec formats as shown in screenshot below.

You have three different choices here, either you can download and install codec format package from Android market or you can do it from Mobo site or you can do it using offline instructions provided for installation. When you tap DownloadFromMarket it launches Android market app and takes you to the codec download page. Just tap to install the package from there. Once installation is completed then you need to launch again the MoboPlayer by tapping it's icon. If the codec formats are installed properly then it would not display the previous screen above and take you to instructions screen as shown below.
